1 Corinthians 12:3

"Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, 'Jesus is accursed'; and no one can say, 'Jesus is Lord,' except by the Holy Spirit."
1 Corinthians 12:3 (NASB)

Without the indwelling Holy Spirit providing us with the necessary faith, we would not and could not bring ourselves to believe that the statement “Jesus is Lord” is true. This is the natural result of the Holy Spirit’s continual work and influence on our hearts from within. We can never lose that salvation!
