Donations

The Grace Upon Grace Foundation (“Foundation” of “GUGF”) was created to share the “Good News” of God’s grace through Bible studies, publications, and helping people in need. The Foundation also financially supports ministries and individuals that need food, medication, shelter, clothing, etc., as the Lord brings these needs to the Foundation’s attention. The Foundation never asks for donations. However, some familiar with the Foundation’s ministry have requested that they be allowed to contribute. The Foundation, after review of laws governing nonprofit foundations (which affirmatively make specific provisions for such donations), has established this donation page to accommodate those wishing to contribute to the Foundation’s ministry.
Information you should know if you choose to donate:

  • All donations are tax deductible. GUGF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation.
  • You will receive a donation statement for your taxes at the end of the year.
  • 100% of all donations received will be used only for ministries approved by the Foundation’s Board of Directors (see below). No portion of any donation is ever used for administrative, operating expenses, overhead, or published material costs.
  • All administrative, operating expenses, overhead, and published material costs are funded entirely from granted funds provided by the original founders of the Foundation.

Current ministries approved by the Foundation’s Board of Directors:

  • Immediate Needs Fund: This fund provides financial or practical support for many in our community who need immediate temporary help with food, medications, shelter, clothing, or other urgent needs.
  • Ministry to India: Funds are directed to support missionary and evangelist Pastor Prabhakar Prasad Salve's ministry to India’s poor and needy. Pastor Salve grew up in an Indian orphanage and God has uniquely attuned him to this special need within India.
  • Ministry to Myanmar (formerly known as Burma): Funds are directed to support Pastor Joseph (Thang Kahn Sian) and his wife’s ministry in founding an urgent need orphanage in Myanmar. Additionally, funds from the original founder’s grant have been used to translate books and other publications into the Burmese and Tedim Chin languages to support the evangelical outreach within Myanmar.
