Romans 1:16-17

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, 'But the righteous man shall live by faith.'"

Romans 1:16-17 (NASB)

The "gospel" is the simple message that Jesus is our righteousness; we are right with God in every way. He sees no sin or failure in our life. And through the "faith" God gives us to believe, we are saved for all eternity. Simply awesome! It's all from God. (Romans 11:36, "For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.") Praise the Lord!
