Proverbs 20:24

"Since the Lord is directing our steps, why try to understand everything that happens along the way?"

What a comforting verse. God is ordering our steps daily (accomplishing His will in our life), even though we often can't see or understand how. (Proverbs 16:9, "The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps." Philippians 2:13, "For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." Jeremiah 10:23, "I know, O Lord, that a man’s way is not in himself, nor is it in a man who walks to direct his steps." All verses NASB.)
