1 Timothy 2:2-3

"Pray in this way for kings and all others who are in authority over us, or are in places of high responsibility, so that we can live in peace and quietness, spending our time in godly living and thinking much about the Lord. This is good and pleases God our Savior."

1 Timothy 2:2-3 (TLB)

Wow! When I forget to do this, I feel anxious and critical. When I pray for our leaders, God causes me to trust them to Him. A perfect peace then comes over me. Praise the Lord! (Isaiah 26:3 NASB, "The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in You.")
