Psalm 135:5-7

"I know the greatness of the Lord—that he is greater far than any other god. He does whatever pleases him throughout all of heaven and earth and in the deepest seas. He makes mists rise throughout the earth; he sends the lightning to bring down the rain and sends the winds from his treasuries."

God does whatever pleases Him throughout all the earth. So, we can trust all of our life, all of our family, and everything going on in our country to Him. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NASB, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.") This is a wonderful, wonderful promise.
