Romans 15:13

"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

Believing in God (just what His Word says) fills us with joy and peace, regardless of our circumstances. (2 Peter 1:2, "Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.")
