Hebrews 11:1 & 3

"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible."

Hebrews 11:1 & 3 (NASB)

Faith is simply believing what God's Word says without seeing that it's true. We believe God created the universe, although we didn't see Him do it. We believe He's working all things together for good—in my life, my kids' lives, even though we don't always see how that's happening. (Romans 8:28, "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."). We believe (faith)! Praise the Lord!
