"Do not be amazed that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

John 3:7-8 (NASB)

The "wind" (Holy Spirit) that "blows" into us, giving us belief in Christ, is the same "wind" that grows our Christian life. (Galatians 3:3, "Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?") Again, our Christian life is all God. We can rest in that! We don't need to feel guilty about shortcomings we still see in our life. (Philippians 1:6, "For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.")
