Ephesians 2:10

Jul 11, 2026

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them."

Ephesians 2:10 (NASB)

The word "workmanship" means poem. So, every believer is a poem God is continuing to write. God is the potter, we're just clay. He continues to shape our lives for our good and His glory. (Isaiah 64:8, "But now, O Lord, You are our Father, we are the clay, and You our potter; and all of us are the work of Your hand.")

Philippians 2:13, "For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." Praise the Lord! What peace! What great joy! We can just rest in Him.

Mark 11:28-29, "And began saying to Him, 'By what authority are You doing these things, or who gave You this authority to do these things?' And Jesus said to them, 'I will ask you one question, and you answer Me, and then I will tell you by what authority I do these things.'"
