Matthew 18:32-33
Jul 13, 2026
"Then summoning him, his lord said to him, 'You wicked slave, I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow slave, in the same way that I had mercy on you?'"
Matthew 18:32-33 (NASB)
Our forgiveness of others comes from remembering God's great mercy toward us. (2 Peter 1:9, "For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.") Are you struggling with forgiving someone? Just reconsider how much God has forgiven you - to declare you righteous (perfect) in His sight.
