"Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you."

Job 22:21 (NKJV)

There is no need to try to apply God's Word to your life (that is God's work to bring you into conformity with His word). Just read it with a desire for God to make what His word is saying true in your life. Job tells us that as we continue to do this, it dissipates anger and every other evil thing that God's enemies would use to destroy us. At the same time, continue to acquaint yourself with God through His word. He will grow in you His true fulfillment, peace, joy, and contentment. You will only have praise to Him!
