1 Thessalonians 2:7

"But we proved to be gentle among you, as a nursing mother tenderly cares for her own children."

For today, consider this wonderfiul word picture offered by Paul. It is an insightful example of how our heavenly Father always treats us. Paul was a man "breathing threats and murder" (Acts 9:1) before meeting the Lord on the road to Damascus. Now he is as gentle to others as the Lord was gentle to him—and is always gentle to us!
