Acts 17:24-25

"The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things."

For today, consider how much your upbringing has imprinted you with the notion that you must work to please God, rather than recognizing that eternal life (God's life, the Christian life) is all a free gift to you from God. Your belief in Christ is evidence (not the cause) of God freely working in you. PTL! It is all free!
