Ephesians 4:29

"Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear."

Ephesians 4:29 (NASB)

"Edification" means to lift up and encourage spirituality. "Give grace" means give joy to the listener. So, think of how many marriages, families, and other relationships would be spared if this one verse was taken to heart.
