Ephesians 3:1

"For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles ..."

Ephesians 3:1 (NASB)

Paul was in jail when he wrote this but didn't consider himself a prisoner of his circumstances. He was only "the prisoner of Christ Jesus" because he knew Christ was accomplishing His good will in and through his life every day. (Philippians 1:12, "Now I want you to know, brethren, that my circumstances have turned out for the greater progress of the gospel.")
