Psalm 107:8-9

"Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men! For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, and the hungry soul He has filled with what is good."
Psalm 107:8-9 (NASB)

As we hunger and thirst to know God (through reading His Word and prayer), God completely satisfies us. "And the Lord will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail" (Isaiah 58:11). "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied" (Matthew 5:6).
