Isaiah 55:11

"So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."

Isaiah 55:11 (NASB)

Do we realize what this verse says? Whenever we read God's Word, God is accomplishing what we're reading in our life! It also says when we send a verse of scripture to someone else, God is working that verse (truth) into their life. Think about the impact of sending 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 to a friend—"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
