Psalm 57:2

"I will cry to God Most High, to God who accomplishes all things for me."

Psalm 57:2 (NASB)

Does "accomplishes all things" mean God takes away all our fears? Yes! (Psalm 34:4, "I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.")

Does it mean He comforts us in every difficult circumstance? Yes! (2 Corinthians 1:3, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.")

Does it mean we don’t have to worry about our children's future? Yes! (Philippians 4:6, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Psalm 25:12-13, "Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. His soul will abide in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land.")

Does it mean we don't have to stress over all the wrong we see in our country today? Yes! (David went on to say in Psalm 57:4, "My soul is among lions; I must lie among those who breathe forth fire ... their tongue a sharp sword." Yet, verse 7 goes on, "My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast." And verse 10, "For Your lovingkindness is great to the heavens ...") Praise the Lord! And my (Daryl's) heart is steadfast, even though our world is so chaotic, immoral, and God-hating. Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
