1 Corinthians 1:30

"But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption."

1 Corinthians 1:30 (NASB)

The word "sanctification" refers to our entire Christian life. This verse is saying our spiritual growth is all God's doing. (Philippians 2:13, "For it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure." Galatians 3:3, "Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?") Praise the Lord there is nothing we need to work on!
