John 16:33

"These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."

John 16:33 (NASB)

God said this world would be troubling. We shouldn't expect it to be otherwise. "In Christ," we have peace; we have peace from God's promises, peace from the comfort of His Spirit, peace from His shield of love surrounding us. (Psalm 5:12, "For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O Lord, You surround him with favor as with a shield.")
