Jeremiah 17:7-8

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit."

Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NASB)

Reread these two verses and put your name in the place of "the man." This is an amazing promise! As we just flat out trust the Lord with everything, and for everything, He grows us into a mighty tree that's happy and joyful, every day no matter what! Praise the Lord. (Proverbs 2:10 TLB, "For wisdom and truth will enter the very center of your being, filling your life with joy.")
